A bit about Jeni. She began studying voice at twelve with mezzo-soprano Helene Jenner (Pickett), establishing a strong foundation of classical vocal technique, and expert performance training.  At nineteen, she relocated from Wisconsin to NYC to study musical theater in an intensive program provided at NYU, which opened doors to off-Broadway performances and also, ignited her passion for creative control. Through various epiphanies and unplanned encounters, she discovered her path as a singer/songwriter, which required a change in style. She trained with rock/pop focused vocal coaches Don Lawrence (Lady Gaga) and Katie Agresta (Bon Jovi), as well as Craig Derry  (gospel/R&B) and Hagit Goldberg (jazz), learning valuable lessons from each. She loves passing on her eclectic mix of vocal tricks!
