So, late last year, I had a few interactions with fellow artists that caused me some frustration and a bit of heartache. I spent some time soul searching, checking on my musical motivation and personal goals and ended up coming across a Psalm that changed everything for me. It actually brought me back to a place I had once spent much of my creative time, but had wandered away from. The Psalm reads, "Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings" Psalm 63:7.
AHHHHHH the safe haven and protection of unearthly, limitless, powerful, breathtaking wings creating a little sacred space for me to create, just because I have something in me that desires to do so. That is all, and that is enough!
I am not a visual artist, but, my high school art teacher, Mrs. Frank, was the absolute bomb. Although it has been years since I have actually painted, I couldn't help painting this wing!!!
